‘Tiger Triumph – 24’, a bilateral tri-service Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief (HADR) military exercise
between India and the USA, is being conducted from 18 to 31 March 2024.
The ‘Harbor Phase’ of this military exercise is scheduled from 18 to 25 March 24.
Tiger Triumph was the code name given to the 1st ever tri-services military exercise between India and the USA.
It is a bilateral tri-service amphibious military exercise.
The final planning conference for this was held at the Eastern Naval Command in Visakhapatnam.
A total of 1200 Indian and 500 U.S. military personnel participated in the nine-day exercise.
The opening ceremony was held aboard INS Jalashwa.

Uttar Pradesh Police will now use the state-of-the-art digital platform Trinetra App 2.0, which has been designed
to help in crime prevention and investigation.
UP DGP Prashant Kumar along with ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash launched the app at the DGP headquarters.
‘Trinetra’ is an AI-based mobile application powered by Staqu’s expertise in facial recognition, visual search,
machine learning, and deep learning technology has a record of 5 lakh criminals which contains a picture,
address, and criminal history of each criminal.
Artificial Intelligence is being used by the UP Police to catch criminals.
As of 2016, Uttar Pradesh (UP) had the highest incidences of crime with a crime rate of 128.7 per 100,000 people.

Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Jaideep Hansraj, current MD, and CEO of Kotak Securities, as Group President
of ‘One Kotak’ with effect from April 1, 2024.
Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Mumbai.
In 2022, private lenders Kotak Mahindra Bank and Axis Bank have each acquired a 7.84% stake in Open Network
Digital Commerce (ONDC) for ₹10 crores.
Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd also has entered into an MoU with Business France to support companies in the Indo-French corridor.
Kotak is the first Indian bank to have signed an MoU with Business France.

of “One Nation, One Election”.
Recently the committee has submitted its report to President Draupadi Murmu.
‘One Nation, One Election’ is a proposal under consideration by the Government of India to synchronize elections
for the Lok Sabha and all state assemblies.
This committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of former President of India Ram Nath Kovind.

Thomas P Stafford, a renowned NASA astronaut, passed away at the age of 93.
He was the commander of the Apollo 10 lunar mission, a crucial dress rehearsal for the 1969 moon landing.
Stafford, a native of Weatherford, Oklahoma, also flew on two Gemini flights before his Apollo mission.
Despite not landing on the moon himself, Stafford piloted the first lunar module to orbit the moon in 1969.
He was one of the 24 astronauts who journeyed to the moon, with only seven of them still alive.
Stafford’s contributions extended beyond space missions, as he later became a key figure in providing advice to
NASA.
Stafford’s involvement in various projects, including overseeing Area 51, earned him the nickname “Father of
Stealth.”

It allows voters to access information about the criminal records of candidates standing for elections in their

The KYC app aims to promote transparency and accountability in the electoral process, empowering voters with

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the facility at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar.

These facilities aim to provide year-round training and competition for athletes without weather disturbances.
The indoor athletics center is capable of hosting indoor continental and regional championships.
It is part of Odisha’s efforts to strengthen its sports ecosystem and promote sporting excellence.
The aquatic center features a temperature-controlled Olympic-size swimming pool and accommodation facilities
for athletes.
The stadium was constructed at an approximate cost of Rs 120 crore.
