About MCL

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) is one of the major coal producing company of India. It is one of the eight subsidiaries of Coal India Limited. It was carved out of South Eastern Coalfields Limited in 1992 with its headquarters at Sambalpur. It has its coal mines spread across Odisha. It has total seven open cast mines and three underground mines under its fold.

  • Diploma in Mining Engineering of 03 years duration or Degree in Mining Engineering
  • Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by Directorate Genera l of Mines Safety under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both Open Cast & Under Ground Mines or any other certificate in Mining which entitle to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both OC & UG Mines.
  • Valid First Aid Certificate
  • Valid Gas Testing Certificate
  • Vacancy- 82
  • Salary- ₹ 31,852/ Month
Mining Sirdar, T&S
  • Senior Secondary school examination or intermediate examination H.S.C (12th) or equivalent Examination Or
  • 3 years Diploma in Mining Engineering
  • Valid Overman Competency Certificate issued by Directorate Genera l of Mines Safety under Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both Open Cast & Under Ground Mines or any other certificate in Mining which entitle to work as Overman as per Coal Mines Regulation 2017 for working in both OC & UG Mines.
