About HAL

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is an Indian public-sector aerospace and defense company, headquartered in Bangalore. Established on 23 December 1940, HAL is one of the oldest and largest aerospace and defense manufacturers in the world. HAL began aircraft manufacturing as early as 1942 with licensed production of Harlow PC-5, Curtiss P-36 Hawk, and Vultee A-31 Vengeance for the Indian Air Force. It currently has 11 dedicated Research and development (R&D) centers and 21 manufacturing divisions under 4 production units spread across India. HAL is managed by a board of directors appointed by the President of India through the Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

HAL Apprentices 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Engineering Graduate Apprentice
  • Vacancies: 74
  • Candidates should have successfully completed a Degree in
    Engineeringfl’echnoiogy from a recognized university as mentioned at LA and the gap between the date of joining and passing date of the qualification should not be more than 3 years,
Technician (Diploma) Apprentice
  • Vacancies: 52
  • Candidates should have passed Diploma in engineering/technology from the State Board of Technical Education as mentioned at 18 and the gap between the date of joining and the passing date of the qualification should not be more than 3 years.
General Stream Graduate Apprentice
  • Vacancies: 24
  • Candidates should have successfully completed a Degree from a recognized university as mentioned at LC and the gap between the date of joining
    and the passing date of the qualification should not be more than 3 years.

Age Limit:

  • minimum 14 years and maximum 21 years of age.

Selection Process:

  • HAL will select candidates based on walk-in interviews.
