About UIIC

United India Insurance Company is an Indian government-owned insurance company headquartered in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was incorporated on 18 February 1938 and nationalized in 1972. Previously, it was a subsidiary of the General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC). But when GIC became a re-insurance company as per the IRDA Act 1999, its four primary insurance subsidiaries New India Assurance, United India Insurance, Oriental Insurance, and National Insurance obtained autonomy, with effect from 21 March 2003.

  • Master’s degree in law from a recognized University or any

    [3 Years’ experience as a practicing lawyer (2 years for SC / ST Candidates) is preferable]
Accounts / Finance Specialist
  • Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICWA)
    or
  • B.Com. with 60% marks (55% for SC / ST category) from a recognized University
    or
  • M.Com. from a recognized University
Company Secretary
  • Graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks for General  & OBC candidates,55% for SC/ST candidates
    and
  • Candidates should have passed the Final examination of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
Actuary
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial
    Science or any other quantitative discipline with 60% marks
    (55% for SC/ST category) from a recognized University
    or
  • Master’s degree in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial

  • UIIC Recruitment 2023 consists of a comprehensive salary structure for the selected candidates.
  • The following candidate will be getting a pay of Rs. 88,000 per month approximately.
