IDFC Job Purpose

  • The position involves overseeing and expanding the retail banking operations within the branch, effectively managing both operations and resources to optimize costs and leverage technology. The individual in this role will take charge of leading customer service and branch operations for an assigned branch, overseeing the daily upkeep of the branch. Serving as the key custodian for all Rural Banking documents at the branch, this role offers operational support for Rural and semi-urban Retail products. The primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth management of the customer life cycle, fulfill customer requests, and deliver top-notch service.

IDFC Roles & Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the seamless day-to-day management and administration of the Branch, ensuring strict adherence to the organization’s policies and procedures.
  • Directly responsible for overseeing branch operations and delivering exceptional services to customers within the assigned rural network.
  • Perform data entry tasks, including the input of application forms, creation of customer IDs, and the setup of accounts.
  • Thoroughly review and validate files/documents, conducting KYC checks, and verifying application forms and loan documents.
  • Manage cash transactions and clearing processes efficiently.
  • Sustain a high audit rating for the branch through meticulous attention to compliance and operational standards.
  • Champion a culture of excellence in service delivery for both external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate as a strategic business partner in formulating and implementing crucial operational and regulatory practices, encompassing compliance, lending operations, and operational risk.
  • Supervise quality initiatives throughout the operations team to streamline processes, enhance Turnaround Time (TAT), and elevate Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Leverage tools such as automation and digitization to optimize operational workflows and boost overall process efficiency.

IDFC Education Qualification

  • Graduation: Bachelor’s in Engineering / Technology / Maths / Commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Management.

Experience

  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in Banking or allied Business.
