Master Card Data Engineer Responsibilities

1. Develop innovative analytical solutions and identify opportunities to support business and client needs.
2. Build machine learning models, and automated data pipelines, and design data architecture using tools like Hive/Impala, Python, Spark, and R.
3. Drive the evolution of Data & Services products/platforms with a focus on data science and engineering.
4. Participate in the development of data and analytic infrastructure for product development.
5. Evaluate data elements for analytics in product development and continuously innovate using new technologies.
6. Collaborate with various teams across the organization, including consultants, engineering, and sales.
7. Prioritize and solve high-priority business problems, considering usability, feasibility, timelines, and stakeholder opinions.
8. Break large solutions into smaller milestones, collect feedback, and track usage for future development.

Master Card Data Engineer Qualification

1. Basic knowledge of statistical analytical techniques, coding, and data engineering demonstrated.
2. Utilized open-source tools, predictive analytics, machine learning, and Advanced Statistics for basic analyses.
3. Experience in developing and configuring dashboards is a plus.
4. Exhibited judgment in escalating issues to the project team.
5. High proficiency in Python/Spark, Hadoop platforms & tools (Hive, Impala, Airflow, NiFi), and SQL.
