Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL), previously known as Madras Refineries Limited (MRL), is a subsidiary of Indian Oil Corporation Limited under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Headquartered in Chennai, India, CPCL was established as a joint venture in 1965 with the Government of India, Amoco, and the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) holding shares in the ratio of 74%, 13%, and 13%, respectively. CPCL – IOCL Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• Upper Age Limit and Relaxation (as of 01.02.2024):
• For Position Codes CPCL03, CPCL07, and CPCL10, the upper age limit is 30 years, while for other positions, it is 26 years.
• Age Relaxation:
  SC/ST: 5 years for reserved positions.
  OBC: 3 years for reserved positions.
  Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): 10 years (GEN), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST) for reserved positions.
  Ex-Servicemen: Service duration in Armed Forces plus an additional 3 years, up to a maximum of 50 years.

CPCL – IOCL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

The selection process includes an Online Test, Skill/Proficiency/Physical Test (SPPT), and certificate verification for shortlisted candidates.

CPCL – IOCL Recruitment 2024 Salary

Category 1 – (Position Codes CPCL02, CPCL06, CPCL09, CPCL12, CPCL13, CPCL14 & CPCL16):

• Candidates appointed in the IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 25,000-1,05,000/- with a basic pay of Rs. 25,000/- in Grade IV in Non-Supervisory cadre, subject to medical fitness.
• Additional benefits include DA, HRA/Self-Lease, PF, Gratuity, LTC/LFA, Reimbursement of Medical expenses, and Superannuation benefits, as per Corporation rules.

Category 2 – (Position Codes CPCL03, CPCL07 & CPCL10):

• Candidates appointed in the IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 25,000-1,05,000/- in Grade IV in a Non-Supervisory cadre, subject to medical fitness.
• Two Grade Increments at the rate of 3% each will be provided at the time of joining.
• Additional benefits include DA, HRA/Self-Lease, PF, Gratuity, LTC/LFA, Reimbursement of Medical expenses, and Superannuation benefits, as per Corporation rules.

Category 3 –(Position Codes CPCL01, CPCL04, CPCL05, CPCL08, CPCL11 & CPCL15):

• Selected candidates, subject to medical fitness, will receive a gross monthly stipend of Rs. 44,000/- (Rupees Forty-Four Thousand only).
• Applicable deductions, including Employee Provident Fund, will be as per statutory norms.
• Upon successful completion of training and suitability for the job, candidates will be appointed in the IDA Pay Scale of Rs. 25,000-1,05,000, with a basic pay of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand only) in Grade IV in Non-Supervisory cadre.
