YIL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit:

• Diploma Holders (Technical): Between 18 to 22 years as of the closing date of application.
• Graduates (Non-Technical): Between 20 to 24 years as of the closing date of application.
• Graduates (Technical): Between 21 to 25 years as of the closing date of application.
• Note: If the date of the advertisement for Apprenticeship in Ordnance Factory Ambajhari, Nagpur, is more than 5 years from the date of passing diploma or graduation, the candidate will not be eligible under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS).

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit:

• SC/ST Candidates: 5 years.
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 years.
• Persons with Physical Disabilities: Additional 10 years.

YIL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Merit List and Vacancy Positions:
   • Selection will be based on the Merit List and vacancy positions as published by the Ordnance Factory in the advertisement.
2. Document Verification:
   • As per the vacancy positions, shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification equal to the number of notified vacancies.
   • A waiting list will be prepared based on the number of unfilled vacancies notified by the factory.
3. Tie-Breaking Criteria:
   • In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidate with the older age will be preferred.
   • If the dates of birth are also the same, the candidate who passed the degree examination earlier (Year) will be considered first.
   • If the year of passing the degree examination is the same, the candidate whose name appears first in alphabetical order will be considered first.
4. Final Merit List:
   • A final merit list will be prepared by the factory, considering the reservation breakup in descending order of the percentage of marks obtained by the candidate.
5. Medical Examination:
   • Candidates finally enlisted in the provisional select list will be subjected to a requisite medical examination by the concerned Ordnance Factories.
6. NATS Portal Enrollment:
   • Eligible candidates must be enrolled on the NATS Portal of BOAT (www.mhrdnats.gov.in).

YIL Recruitment 2024 stipend

Stipend Details:

1. Graduate Apprentices (GA) & Graduate Engineering (GE):
   • Stipend: Rs. 4500/- per month
   • DBT by State Government: Rs. 4500/- per month
   • Total: Rs. 9000/- per month
2. Diploma Holder Apprentices (DH):
   • Stipend: Rs. 4000/- per month
   • DBT by State Government: Rs. 4000/- per month
   • Total: Rs. 8000/- per month

YIL Recruitment 2024 Application Process

Eligible candidates must first enroll on the NATS Portal of BOAT (www.mhrdnats.gov.in). After enrollment, they should proceed to apply online through the Yantra India Online Application Form (Google Form). Ensure all required details are filled correctly and upload the following documents:

(a) University Registration No / Roll. No/ Enrol. No. (b) Provisional Degree Certificate / Consolidated Mark sheet. (c) Any one of the Government IDs (Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, PAN card) – mandatory. (d) Aadhar card or proof against registration for issue of Aadhar card – Mandatory. (e) Valid Personal Email ID – Mandatory. (f) Mobile number for OTP verification – Mandatory. (g) Passport-size photograph in JPEG format, size less than 200kb – Mandatory.
