Candidates who completed ITI in 2021 or earlier must provide an affidavit confirming no prior apprenticeship or employment. Those with higher professional qualifications (Diploma/B.E. or equivalent) or higher academic qualifications (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com) will not be considered or given additional weightage.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years old as of the deadline. SC/ST candidates receive a 5-year age relaxation, and OBC candidates receive a 3-year relaxation in the upper age limit. All government guidelines for age relaxation will be observed.
HCL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on merit, considering marks obtained in ITI and 10th grade.
- Weightage:
- ITI marks: 30%
- 10th grade marks: 70%
- For Trades Without ITI Requirement (Mate Mines & Blaster Mines):
- 100% weightage to 10th-grade marks.
In the case of a tie, the candidate with the higher age will be given preference.
Standard of Physical Fitness
Engagement of selected trade apprentices is subject to being declared medically fit as per HCL’s requirements.

The stipend for the apprentices will be provided as per the applicable rules and regulations.

- Only one application per candidate is accepted. Apply for one trade that matches your qualifications.
Documents to Upload:
- Passport-size photograph (≤50 KB) and signature (≤50 KB) in .jpg format.
- For ITI pass-outs from 2021 or earlier, upload a PDF affidavit (≤1 MB) on non-judicial stamp paper confirming no prior apprenticeship or employment.
