About INDIAN OVERSEAS BANK (IOB)
Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) is a public sector bank headquartered in Chennai. During the nationalization, IOB was one of 14 major banks taken over by the Indian government. On December 5, 2021, IOB received the Degidhan Award 2020-21 from the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology for having the second-highest percentage of digital payment transactions among public sector banks.

Indian Overseas Bank has advertised 550 Apprentice jobs, with a complete notification and online application form available at https://www.iob.in/ on August 28, 2024. IOB Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Education Qualification

| Age Eligibility | For General and EWS Candidates: Date of Birth should fall between 01.08.1996 and 01.08.2004 (both dates inclusive). |

Application Process:
- Candidates must complete the online application form for the “IOB Apprenticeship Program FY 2024-25” by visiting the “Career Opportunities” page on www.bfsissc.com.
- Applicants can apply for engagement in only ONE State/UT, preferably their home State/UT.
Application/Examination Fee/Intimation Charges (Non-Refundable):
- Only eligible candidates will receive email communication from BFSI SSC to make payment of the examination fees/intimation charges through the ONLINE mode only, from 28.08.2024 to 15.09.2024. No other mode of payment is acceptable.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates should not have previously undergone Apprenticeship training either with Indian Overseas Bank or any other organization as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time to time), nor should they have been terminated during the course of Apprenticeship training due to their own fault.
- Candidates who have training or job experience of one year or more after completing their educational qualifications are not eligible for engagement as Apprentices.
