Essential Qualifications

• Degree: Full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. (Engg.) in Electrical discipline or equivalent from a recognized university/institute.
• Minimum Marks: 60% or equivalent CGPA.
• Eligible Disciplines:

  • Electrical and Electronics
  • Power Systems Engineering
  • Power Engineering (Electrical)

Eligibility Criteria

• GATE 2024 Requirement: Candidates must have a valid score in the GATE 2024 exam and should have appeared in the corresponding paper:
  • Post: Trainee Engineer (Electrical)
  • GATE Paper: EE

Upper Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 28 years as of 06.11.2024

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit

• OBC (NCL) Candidates: 3 years (subject to reservation of post)

1. GATE 2024 Score: Candidates must secure a valid score in the relevant GATE 2024 paper.
2. Assessment Stages: Shortlisted candidates will undergo:
   • Behavioral Assessment
   • Group Discussion (GD)
   • Personal Interview (PI)
3. Selection Criteria:
   • Shortlisting is based on GATE scores.
   • GD and PI will be available in Hindi or English.
   • Candidates must bring the required documents as specified in their call letters.
4. Qualifying Marks:
   • UR and EWS: 40%
   • Reserved Categories: 30%
   • GD has no qualifying marks.
5. Weightage for Final Score:
   • GATE 2024: 85%
   • GD: 3%
   • PI: 12%

• Training Period: 1 year
  • Stipend: ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 per month (including IDA, HRA, and 12% perks on Basic Pay)
• Post-Training Placement:
  • Position: Assistant Engineer (E0 level) with a pay scale of ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000 (IDA).
• Compensation Package upon Regularization:
  • Includes Basic Pay, DA, HRA, Performance-Related Pay, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension, and Post-Retirement Medical Benefits.
  • Additional perks: Monthly Conveyance, Mobile Reimbursement, Leave Encashment, and TA/DA.
