The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) has released an employment notice for recruiting Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical staff for various positions on a contractual basis in four ECHS Polyclinics situated in Kolkata, Salt Lake, Howrah, and Baruipur. These positions are available for the financial year 2025-26, and the contracts will be renewable for one additional year or until the candidates reach the maximum age limit, whichever comes first. The total number of vacancies is spread across a range of roles, with fixed monthly remunerations ranging from Rs 16,800 to Rs 1,00,000. Interested candidates must submit their applications by 13th February 2025, and the interviews are scheduled to take place in March 2025.

ECHS Recruitment 2025 Important Dates

• Application Start Date: 15th January 2025

ECHS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for each post include qualifications, experience, and age limits:

Qualification Requirements:

• For technical roles, a minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
• Medical positions require MD, DNB, or MBBS qualifications with relevant years of experience.
• Para-medical roles require a diploma or degree in their respective fields.
• For non-medical roles, candidates must possess a graduate degree or other specific qualifications related to the role.

Age Limit:

• The upper age limit for applicants is generally 55 years, with exceptions for certain positions. For ESM candidates, preference will be given, and they will be appointed as per the norms.

Experience:

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience is required for most positions. Specific roles, such as Dental Assistant, Lab Technician, and Pharmacist, require a certain level of educational qualification in addition to work experience.

ECHS Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for the ECHS recruitment consists of two main stages:

• Trade Test (for applicable positions): Shortlisted candidates will undergo a trade test based on their respective role.
• Interview: Those who pass the trade test will be invited for an interview. Candidates will be evaluated based on their work experience, qualifications, and performance in the interview.

ECHS Recruitment 2025 Salary

The salary for each post is fixed as per the qualifications and experience required:

• OIC Polyclinic: Rs 75,000/-
• Medical Specialist: Rs 1,00,000/-
• Medical Officer: Rs 75,000/-
• Dental Officer: Rs 75,000/-
• Other Posts: Rs 16,800 to Rs 28,100/-

Note: The salary mentioned is inclusive of various allowances such as DA, HRA, and TA.

ECHS Recruitment 2025 Application Fee

• General Candidates: Rs 500/- (to be paid through online payment via SB Collect)
• Exemptions: No fee for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/CSIR Employees/Ex-Servicemen.
