The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites applications for the post of Medical Consultant (MC) on a contractual basis with fixed hourly remuneration at its Main Office in Srinagar. 1. Educational Qualification:
   • MBBS degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
   • Postgraduate degree in General Medicine is desirable.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum 2 years of practicing medicine in a hospital or clinic.
3. Location:
   • The applicant must have their own clinic, dispensary, or residence within a 3-5 km radius of RBI’s Srinagar office.

RBI Medical Consultant Recruitment 2025 Remuneration and Duty Hours

• Out of the total monthly remuneration, ₹1000/- per month is treated as conveyance expense.
• The Bank reserves the right to review and alter remuneration and duty hours.

RBI Medical Consultant Recruitment 2025 Key Responsibilities

1. Treat minor and major illnesses for employees and their dependents.
2. Administer emergency treatments, including injections, and handle minor surgeries.
3. Issue medical certificates and approve leave requests on medical grounds.
4. Refer patients to hospitals for specialized treatments when required.
5. Conduct regular health checkups for employees and submit an annual health report.
6. Maintain the sanitary and hygienic condition of office premises and staff quarters.

RBI Medical Consultant Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Interview:
   • Eligible candidates will be shortlisted and called for an interview at RBI, Rail Head Complex, Jammu-180012.
   • The Bank’s decision on shortlisting will be final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
2. Post-Interview Verification:
   • Medical examination and document verification for shortlisted candidates.
   • Selected candidates will need to sign a contract agreement.

1. Prepare an application in the prescribed format (Annex III).
2. Send the application in a sealed cover super-scribed as “Application for the post of Medical Consultant, RBI, Srinagar on Contract Basis with fixed hourly remuneration”.
3. Address the application to: Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Reserve Bank of India, Rail Head Complex, Jammu-180012.
4. Ensure the application reaches on or before February 25, 2025.

RBI Medical Consultant Recruitment 2025 Important Terms and Conditions

1. The contract is valid for three years and is non-renewable.
2. Duties include attending emergencies outside regular hours, maintaining medical records, and facilitating hospital referrals.
3. The Bank may terminate the contract with three months’ notice or three months’ remuneration in lieu thereof.
4. Selected candidates must adhere to the Code of Conduct and other service conditions specified by the Bank.
5. Taxes on income will be deducted at source as per government rules.
