For the position of Apprentices in a number of states, including Punjab, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, etc., the SBI will be hiring deserving applicants. Those who met the requirements could only apply for engagement in one state.
The candidates will be selected for a 1-year Apprenticeship training program with the SBI. The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs.15000/- per month for the engagement period of one year
To be qualified for the SBI Apprentice Exam in 2023, applicants must fulfill the requirements listed below:
- Age: 20 to 28 years
- Education Qualification: Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Nationality: Indian, Nepal, Bhutan
- Number of attempts: No limit
SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern
It consists of three sections:
- Online Written Test
- Test of Local Language
- Medical Examination
Online Written Test
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Test of Local Language
- Candidates should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified local language of that State.
- Candidates who fail to qualify for this test will not be engaged as the apprentice.
Medical Examination
The Engagement of selected apprentices is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Bank.
