In rural areas of Bihar, Male and Female literacy rate is 57.1% and 29.6% respectively.
Total Urban literacy rate is 71.9%.

International Day for Elimination of Violence Against Women has been observed on 25th November.
The campaign addressed at stopping violence against women runs for 16 days, starting on November 25 and ending on December 10.

On December 20, 1993, the UNGA adopted the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women.

Union Minister of State for Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh, commemorated the 60th year of the First Sounding Rocket Launch at a function held at the Thumba Equatorial Rocket Launch Station, Kerala.
PM Modi has set new ambitious goals for ISRO, including the country’s first manned Space Mission “Gaganyaan” by 2025, “Bharatiya Antariksha Station” (Indian Space Station) by 2035, and the first Indian landing on the Moon by 2040.

On November 17, 2020, Kris Gopalakrishnan was appointed as the first Chairperson of Reserve Bank Innovation Hub.
The GoI constituted a committee under Kris Gopalakrishnan to make recommendations about non-personal data governance in the country.
The Committee was formed by the Ministry of Information Technology in September 2019.
It submitted a report on Non-Personal Data Governance Framework in July 2020.
