Educational Qualification

As per the information in the Indian Navy SSC Recruitment 2019 Notification, an individual has to complete their B.E, B.Tech, M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, B.Sc from any Recognized Institute or University in India, as the Educational Qualification.

Indian Navy SSC interview

  • Candidates will be issued call up for SSB interviews based on their performance in educational qualification. Integrated Headquarters, Ministry of Defence (Navy) reserves the right to shortlist applications and to fix cut off percentage.
  • SSB interviews for short-listed candidates will be scheduled from May 2019 to August 2019 at Bangalore for pilot entry, SSB interviews for NAIC will be scheduled at Bangalore/Bhopal/Coimbatore/Visakhapatnam/Kolkata for ATC candidates
  • The total duration of SSB interviews is 5-days consisting of stage I (Day one) and stage II (Four days)

Stage I Tests

  • Consist of Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and Group Discussion Tests. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be sent back on the same day from SSB Centre

Stage II Tests

  • Consists of Psychological Tests, Group Task Tests and Interview
  • Successful candidates will undergo medicals examination (approx. 3-5 days). Candidates of Pilot entry are also required to undergo PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) followed by Aviation medical exam

FCI Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:

Junior Engineer (Civil): 
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering or
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering with one year experience.

Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical): 

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering or
  • Diploma in Electrical Engineering Or Mechanical Engineering with one year experience in the case of Diploma holders only.
Steno. Grade- II:
  • Graduate along with O‘ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively.
  • Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application with speed of 40 w.p.m. and 80 w.p.m. in typing and shorthand respectively.
Assistant (Hindi):
  • Degree of a recognized University with Hindi as the main subject.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • One year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice versa.

Typist (Hindi):

  • Graduation or equivalent.
  • 30 W.P.M speed in Hindi Typing.
  • Preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer knowledge.

Assistant (General): Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers.

Assistant (Accounts): Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers.

Assistant (Technical):

  • B.Sc. in Agriculture from a recognized University. Or
  • B.Sc. with any of the following subject from a recognized University: Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Food Science.

FCI Recruitment Selection process:

  • The selection process of FCI Recruitment will be based on written examination.
  • The online test will comprise of Phase-I and Phase-II exams.
  • The marks obtained in Phase-I will not be reckoned in final merit ranking.
  • For Steno/Typist Posts, The final merit will be decided on the basis of marks secured in written test, subject to qualifying the Skill Test.
  • The Online test and skill test (wherever applicable) shall be followed by document verification.
