Educational Qualifications

• Project Scientist ‘B’:
  • At least a First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines.
  • Valid GATE score is desirable.
  • Relevant work experience of up to 3 years in the domain is preferred.
  • Preferred Disciplines: Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Aeronautics, Metallurgy, etc.
• Project Scientist ‘C’:
  • At least a First-Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in specific areas like embedded systems, avionics, quality assurance, etc.
  • Preferred Disciplines: Similar to Project Scientist ‘B’.

Age Limit

• Project Scientist ‘B’: Maximum 35 years.
• Project Scientist ‘C’: Maximum 40 years.

Age Relaxation:

• OBC: 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• Divyang/PH candidates: Up to 10 years
• Civilian Central Govt. employees: Up to 5 years
