AIIMS NORCET Recruitment 2025

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, is inviting applications for the post of Nursing Officer. Candidates with a B.Sc Nursing degree or Diploma in Nursing are eligible to apply. The age limit for applicants is between 18 to 30 years as of 17 March 2025. AIIMS NORCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute/university OR
  • B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute/university AND registered as a Nurse & Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
  • OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognized board/institute AND registered as a Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.
  • Two years of experience in a minimum 50-bedded hospital after acquiring the educational qualification (applicable for diploma holders).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PWBD: 10 years (up to 56 years maximum)
  • PWBD + OBC: 13 years
  • PWBD + SC/ST: 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen & Commissioned Officers (ECO/SSCOs): 5 years

AIIMS NORCET 2025 Selection Process

Stage I: NORCET Preliminary (Qualifying Only)

• Exam Duration: 90 minutes
• Total Questions: 100 MCQs (100 marks)
• Sections:
  • General Knowledge & Aptitude – 20 MCQs
  • Nursing Course Syllabus – 80 MCQs
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer
• Minimum Qualifying Marks:
  • UR/EWS: 50 percentile
  • OBC: 45 percentile
  • SC/ST: 40 percentile
  • PWBD: 5 percentile relaxation

Stage II: NORCET Main (Merit-Based)

• Exam Duration: 180 minutes
• Total Questions: 160 MCQs (160 marks)
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer

  • OBC: 45%
