AAI Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

General Criteria

1. Age Limit:
   • Minimum: 18 years
   • Maximum: 30 years (as of 01/11/2024)
   • Relaxation:
     • OBC: 3 years
     • SC/ST: 5 years
     • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.
     • Additional relaxation for AAI employees and special categories (e.g., widows/divorced women).
2. Educational Qualifications:
   • 10th Pass + 3-year Regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire.
   • OR 12th Pass (Regular Study).
   • Valid Driving License:
     • Heavy Vehicle License OR Medium Vehicle License (issued at least 1 year before 01/11/2024) OR Light Motor Vehicle License (issued at least 2 years before 01/11/2024).
3. Physical Standards:
   • Height: Male – 167 cm; Female – 157 cm.
   • Weight: Male – 55 kg; Female – 45 kg.
   • Chest (for Male): 81 cm (normal); 5 cm expansion.
   • Vision: 6/6 (without glasses); Normal color vision.

AAI Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

1. Written Examination:
   • Mode: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).
   • Duration: 2 hours.
   • Sections:
     • Part A: 50% (Technical/Subject Knowledge).
     • Part B: 50% (General Knowledge, Intelligence, Aptitude, English).
   • Minimum Passing Marks:
     • UR/OBC/EWS: 50%
     • SC/ST: 40%.
2. Physical Endurance Test (PET):
   • Male: 100m running, pole climbing, rope climbing, ladder climbing, and sandbag carrying (50 kg).
   • Female: Adjusted standards (e.g., 30 kg sandbag carrying, 6m pole/rope climbing).
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks: 60/100.
3. Medical Examination:
   • Includes vision, hearing, speech, and general physical fitness tests.
4. Driving Test:
   • Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in driving Light/Medium/Heavy Vehicles.
5. Final Merit List:
   • Based on Written Exam performance.
