About AOC
The Ordnance Corps has both an operational and a logistical role within the Defense Forces. The logistical role of the Ordnance Corps is to provide technical support to the Defense Forces for the Procurement, Storage, Distribution, Inspection, Maintenance, Repair, and Disposal of all items of Ordnance-related equipment.
In the Corps committee meeting in April 1977, it was decided to adopt the Hindi version of the motto ‘ Shastra Se Shakti’ written in the Devnagri Script. This new motto was incorporated on 23 January 1978.
