Candidates aged between 17 years and 06 months to 21 years are eligible for the Agniveer Recruitment. Candidates born between 01 Oct 2003 to 01 April 2007 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
Candidates selected for the Armed Forces’ Agniveer program will receive a financial package that begins at Rs. 4.75 lakhs in the first year and rises to around Rs. 6.92 lakhs by the fourth. They will also be given various allowances for risk, hardship, rationing, clothing, and travel.
Agniveers donate 30% of their monthly salaries to the Seva Nidhi package, which is matched by the government. After four years, Seva Nidhi pays them a lump sum of Rs. 11.71 lakhs plus interest. In addition, they are covered by a non-contributory life insurance policy of Rs. 48 lakhs, with their families getting Rs. 44 lakhs in the event of their death on duty.
