About Assam Rifles

The Assam Rifles (AR) is a central paramilitary force responsible for border security, counter-insurgency, and maintaining law and order in Northeast India. Its primary duty involves guarding the Indo-Myanmar border. The AR is one of the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) administered by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Indian Army maintains operational control of the AR. As a police force, its recruitment, perks, promotions, and retirement policies are governed by CAPF rules.

Lineman Field
  • 10th class pass with ITI certificate in Electrician Trade
Recovery Vehicle Mechanic
  • 10th class pass with ITI certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic
Bridge & Road (Male & Female)
  • Matric or equivalent from a recognized Board or University.· Diploma in civil engineering from a recognized institution for Bridge and Road.
Electrical & Mechanical
  • Graduate in Electrical & Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Draughtsman
  • 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board and a year’s diploma in Architectural Assistantship from any recognized Polytechnic College or Institution.
Plumber
  • 10th class pass with ITI certificate in Plumber Trade
Surveyor ITI
  • 10th class pass with ITI certificate in Surveyor Trade
X-Ray Assistant
  • 10+2 pass with Diploma in Radiology

Assam Rifles Tradesmen Salary

  • The Assam Riffles will provide the salary to the candidates after getting selected ranging between Rs. 18,000 – Rs.69,100/. This is the tentative Salary being provided here.
