Broadcast Engineering Consultants India Limited (BECIL) is an ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018, and CMMIL3 certified Mini Ratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE). It was incorporated on 24th March 1995 under the Companies Act, 2013 (formerly the Companies Act, 1956), with 100% equity share capital held by the President of India through the Secretary and Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting. Initially, the company was established to provide project consultancy services and turnkey solutions in the field of radio and television broadcast engineering, covering content production facilities, and terrestrial and satellite broadcasting, both in India and abroad.
