Eligibility Criteria

NATIONALITY:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.

AGE CRITERIA:

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Up to 28 Years (as on 01.01.2024).
• Technician ‘C’: Up to 28 Years (as on 01.01.2024).

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 3 Years Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Technician ‘C’:SSLC + ITI + one-year apprenticeship or National Apprenticeship Certificate in the relevant trade.

Note: Applicants are required to attach the Provisional/Final Degree/Diploma/ITI Certificate as proof of course completion and percentage of marks during the application process.

MINIMUM PERCENTAGE OF MARKS :

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): a minimum of 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC candidates and 50% aggregate for SC/PwBD candidates is required.
• Technician ‘C’: a minimum of 60% aggregate for General/EWS/OBC candidates and 50% aggregate for SC/PwBD candidates is required.

BEL Recruitment Selection Process

Candidates will undergo a written test for 150 marks, including:
• Part-I: General Aptitude (50 marks) – covering general mental ability, logical reasoning, analytical skills, comprehension, basic numeracy, data interpretation, and general knowledge.
• Part II: Technical Aptitude (100 marks) – comprising a technical/professional knowledge test with 100 discipline-specific questions.

Minimum Qualifying Marks:
• General/OBC/EWS: 35% in both Part I & Part II separately.
• SC/PwBD: 30% in both Part I & Part II separately.

BEL Recruitment Pay & Allowances

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Rs.24,500 – 3% – Rs.90,000/- + admissible allowances.
• Technician ‘C’: Rs.21,500 – 3% – Rs.82,000/- + admissible allowances.
