About BEL

Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is an Indian Government-owned aerospace and defense electronics company. It primarily manufactures advanced electronic products for ground and aerospace applications. BEL is one of nine PSUs under the Ministry of Defence of India. It has been granted Navratna status by the Government of India.

In 1966, BEL set up a radar manufacturing facility for the army and in-house R&D. In 1967, BEL began manufacturing transmitting tubes, silicon devices, and integrated circuits. The PCB manufacturing facility was established in 1968. In 1970, BEL started making black & white TV picture tubes, X-ray tubes, and microwave tubes. In 1971, BEL set up facilities for the manufacture of integrated circuits and hybrid microcircuits. 1972, BEL established manufacturing facilities for TV transmitters for Doordarshan. In 1973, BEL began manufacturing frigate radars for the Navy.

BEL Recruitment Education Qualification

• Full-time B.E/B. Tech courses from reputed Institutes/Universities in the following Engineering disciplines –
• Electronics – Electronics/Electronic & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/
• Telecommunication/Communication/Electrical & Electronics
• Computer Science – Computer Science/Information Technology/Information Science.
• Minimum Percentage of Marks in BE/ B. Tech: General/OBC: 55% & above SC/ST/ PWD: Pass class Method of CGPA conversion to percentage must be indicated in the application form.
• Post Qualification Experience(as on 01 June 2023): Candidates should have a minimum of Two Years of relevant industry experience

Selection Process For BEL Recruitment

• Selection will be through a Written Test for shortlisted candidates, followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the Written Test. The venue for the Written Test/ Interview will be intimated later.
• 85% Marks will be allotted for the written test and 15% for the interview.
• Candidates who pass the written test will be called for an interview in a ratio of 1:5 in the order of merit.
• The names of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test / Interview and final selections will be notified on our Company‟s website.
• Please note that Written Test/ Interview call letters will be sent through email only.
