The Govt. of India enacted the Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 (No.14 of 1998) on 2nd July 1998, the provisions of which were repealed and reenacted by the Electricity Act, 2003 (36 of 2003) to provide for the establishment of a Central Electricity Regulatory Commission and State Electricity Regulatory Commissions, rationalization of electricity tariff, ensure transparent policies, regulations, promotion of efficient and environmentally benign policies and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

Name Of Post	Qualification & Vacancy
Stenographer	Vacancy: 05 Graduate from a recognized University with proficiency in typing (40 wpm), Shorthand (80 wpm). Knowledge of computer operation including MS Office, internet, and email.
Computer Operator	Vacancy: 02 Graduate from a recognized University and 40 words per minute typing speed, Diploma computing certificate in computer operation from a recognized institution. Knowledge of working in MS Office, internet, and computer operation.
Peon / Orderly	Vacancy: 07 10th (Matric) pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
