BHEL Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
1. Project Engineer
Specialization Areas:
• System Testing: Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience in Control Panel/Electrical Testing.
• External Services:Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering with 1-year experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Distributed Control System (DCS), PLCs, or Field Instrumentation.
• Generator controls, Excitation systems/DAVR for sync generators & motors.
• Substation & Switchyard controls (SAS), Electrical metering systems, etc.
2. Project Supervisor
Specialization Areas:
• Wave Soldering: Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 1-year experience in the operation and maintenance of wave soldering machines. Knowledge of soldering standards and troubleshooting is required.
• CNC Programming/Operation: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 1-year relevant experience in CNC turret punch and press brake operations.
• External Services:Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering with experience in:
• Distributed Control System (DCS), PLCs, or Field Instrumentation.
• Generator controls, Excitation systems, Substation & Switchyard controls, etc.
Age Limit (as of 01 March 2025):
- Maximum age: 32 years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- Persons with Disabilities:
- General: 10 years
- OBC (NCL): 13 years
- SC/ST: 15 years
- Ex-servicemen and domiciled candidates of Jammu & Kashmir are also eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.
BHEL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- Personal Interview
- If eligible candidates are up to the ratio of 1:10 per post, all applicants will be called for an interview.
- If the number of candidates exceeds the ratio, shortlisting will be done based on marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma.
