The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is the National Standards Body of India under the Department of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India. It is established by the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 which came into effect on 12 October 2017. The Minister in charge of the Ministry or Department having administrative control of the BIS is the ex-officio President of the BIS.

BIS Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria

BIS Recruitment 2023 Education Qualification

Graduate Engineers Essential:

  • Master’s Degree in relevant subject or BE/B. Tech in FCT/MCM (Details given in Annex-B) with a minimum of 60% of marks in class- X, XII, and in the qualifying degree.

BIS Recruitment Salary

  • The applicants chosen for the Graduate Engineer position in the BIS Recruitment 2023 would receive a monthly salary of Rs. 50,000.

BIS Recruitment Age Limit

  • The applicant’s age shall not be greater than 35 as of the application deadline, which is June 30, 2023, for the BIS Recruitment 2023.
