About BSF

The Border Security Force (BSF) is India’s border guarding organization on its borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is one of the seven Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) of India, and was raised in the wake of the 1965 war on December 1, 1965, “for ensuring the security of the borders of India and for matters connected therewith”. It has various active roles during an outbreak of war.

BSF is the only CAPF to have a Water Wing, Air Wing, and an Artillery Regiment.

SI (Masters)	vacancy 05 i) 10+2 or it’s equivalent from a recognized Board or University; and ii) 2nd class master certificate issued by Central/State Inland Water Trans ort Authority / Mercantile Marine De artment.
SI (Engine Driver)	vacancy 05 10+2 or it’s equivalent from a recognized University; and ii) ISt class engine driver certificate issued by Central/State Inland Water Transport Authority/ Mercantile Marine Department.
SI (Workshop)	vacancy 02 i) Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent; OR ii) 03 years diploma in Mechanical/ Marine/Auto Mobile Engineering from a recognized University or Institution.
HC ( Masters)	vacancy 39 i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; an ii) Seran Certificate
HC (Engine Driver)	vacancy 56 Matriculation from a recognized oar or equivalent Possessing 2nd class Engine Driver certificate.
HC (Workshop) Mechanic (Diesel/petrol Engine)	vacancy 04 i) Matriculation from a recognized Board or equivalent; an ii) ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) for HC (Workshop)- Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine) from a recognized Institution.; and iii) ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Diploma in Machinist for HC workshop -Machinist from a recognized Institution.
HC (Workshop) Machinist	vacancy 01 i) Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent ii) ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol Engine) for HC (Workshop)- Mechanic (Diesel/ Petrol Engine) from a recognized Institution.; and iii) ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Diploma in Machinist for sized Institution. fr

  hundred only) as an examination fee through one of the following payment modes.
  Besides, Rs.47.20/- as service charges will be levied by Common Service Centre
  (CSC) from every candidate including exempted categories:-
