Cochin Shipyard Apprenticeship 2025 Recruitment

This notification is for one-year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible ITI / Vocational certificate holders from Kerala domicile can apply online. Candidates who have earlier undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act in any other organisation are not eligible.

Cochin Shipyard Apprenticeship 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• ITI Trade Apprentices: Pass in 10th standard and ITI (National Trade Certificate – NTC) in the relevant trade listed above.
• Technician (Vocational) Apprentices: Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE) in the relevant discipline.
• Age: Minimum 18 years as on 15 November 2025.
• Domicile: Applicant must be a domicile of Kerala.
• Physical standards: As per Apprenticeship Rules 1992 (and subsequent amendments) where applicable.
• Reservation: Applicable as per Government of India rules.
• Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in any organisation are not eligible.

Cochin Shipyard Apprenticeship 2025 Selection Process

1. Shortlisting based on percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification for each trade/discipline.
2. If equal percentage of marks occurs, relative merit will be decided by seniority in age.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be intimated via registered email and must appear for certificate verification with originals and self-attested copies.
4. Documents to be produced at verification: printout of online application (with unique registration number), original and self-attested copies of proof of age, qualification, caste, disability (if any), and other relevant certificates.
5. On successful verification and subject to medical fitness, selected candidates will execute the Apprenticeship contract agreement through https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in portal.

Cochin Shipyard Apprenticeship 2025 Salary (Stipend)

Stipend for notified trades/discipline is ₹11,000 per month unless otherwise specified in the detailed notification. The stipend and terms follow Apprenticeship Act provisions where applicable.

Cochin Shipyard Apprenticeship 2025 Application Process

1. Read the user manual on the CSL website (Career page – CSL Kochi) before filling the online application.
2. One-time registration in CSL SAP E-recruitment portal and submission of application against the relevant trade/vocation is mandatory. Do not submit more than one application.
3. Upload required documents and a recent passport-size colour photograph in the online application. Incomplete uploads will lead to rejection.
4. Ensure all entries are correct before final submission. Changes after submission will not be considered.
5. Retain the unique registration number printed on the successfully submitted application for future reference. Quote this Registration Number for any correspondence with CSL.
