Trade Apprentice	Passed-out trainees in the particular trade of NCVT pattern designated by the Director General of Employment & Training (D.G.E.&T) and who have registered with the Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training (RDAT), Chennai will only be considered for selection.
Technician Apprentice	Diploma in Engineering / Technology in full time granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education Established by a State Government/ University/Institution in relevant discipline.
Graduate Apprentice	Graduate/ degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Non – Engineering full-time granted by a recognized University/Institution in relevant discipline.

• ITI: Minimum 14 years for ITI Apprentices as of the date of interview.
• Technician/ Diploma: Minimum 18 years and maximum 24 years for Technician/ Diploma Apprentices as on date of interview.
• Graduate/ Degree: Minimum 21 years and maximum 26 years for Graduate/Degree Apprentices as on date of interview.
