CSIR SO ASO Salary

• For the post of Section Officer, the salary is Rs. 47,600/- to Rs. 1,51,100/- and candidates will be selected for Assistant Section Officer, the salary will be paid Rs. 44,900/- 1,42,400/-. Along with the salary candidates will be provided with allowances such as l allowances i.e. Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA), etc, and benefits like Medical expenses, Leave Travel Concession, House Building Advance, etc.

• The age limit for CSIR Recruitment 2023 has been set at a maximum of 33 years for both positions.

CSIR Recruitment 2023 Selection Process

To get selected for Section Officer (SO) and Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts under CSIR Recruitment 2023 candidates have to undergo 3 stages of the selection process. Stage 1 exam consists of Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams, and Stage 2 exam consists of Paper 3 exam. The third stage of the selection process for the Section Officer (SO) posts is the Interview Exam and for Assistant Section Officer (ASO) posts is the Computer Proficiency Test. The final selection of the candidates will be based on the total marks scored by the candidates in all stages of the recruitment process.

• Step- 1. Visit CSIR’s website at www.csir.res.in/ and select “APPLY ONLINE” to open the Application Portal.
• Step- 2. Click “Register Now,” enter your mobile number and email, and verify both using the OTP. Click “Proceed” after verification.
• Step- 3. Upon online registration, a unique User Name and Password will be generated and sent to your registered email. Keep this information for future reference.
• Step- 4. Carefully fill in and verify all details in the online application as changes are not possible after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
• Step- 5. Upload the required documents, a recent colored photograph, and a signature. Pay the online application fee if applicable.
• Step- 6. Proceed to upload a photo & signature following the specifications on the Document Upload Page
• Step- 7. Preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT by clicking the ‘Form Preview’ button.
• Step- 8. Go to the ‘Payment’ Tab and make the payment if applicable. Click ‘Submit.’
