DCIL Recruitment 2024 Qualification

Position	Qualification
Dredge Cadets	Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from institutes approved by D.G. Shipping.
Trainee Marine Engineers	4-year degree in Marine Engineering from any IMU affiliated colleges/institutes approved by D.G. Shipping, or Graduate Marine Engineering from a recognized university.
Trainee Electrical Officers	4-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication/Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE. Must have completed a 4-month Electro Technical Officer course from a DG Shipping-approved institute.

DCIL Recruitment 2024 Stipend

• Dredge Cadets:
  • Stipend: Rs. 15,000 per month.
  • Victualling Allowance: Rs. 500 per day.
  • Bank Guarantee/Deposit: Candidates must execute a bank guarantee of three lakhs or deposit the same amount with DCI. This is to ensure they serve DCI for five years after completing the training period and obtaining the Certificate of Competency (CoC).
• Trainee Marine Engineers:
  • Stipend: Rs. 25,000 per month.
  • Victualling Allowance: Rs. 500 per day.
  • Bank Guarantee/Deposit: Candidates must execute a bank guarantee of three lakhs or deposit the same amount with DCI. This is to ensure they serve DCI for five years after completing the requisite training period and obtaining the CoC.
• Trainee Electrical Officers:
  • Stipend: Rs. 25,000 per month.
  • Victualling Allowance: Rs. 500 per day.
  • Bank Guarantee/Deposit: Candidates must execute a bank guarantee of three lakhs or deposit the same amount with DCI. This is to ensure they serve DCI for five years after completing the training period and passing the assessment.

  • Academic Performance: Percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
