DRDO’s Defence Research and Development Laboratory (DRDL), Hyderabad, has announced recruitment for 5 Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions. Candidates with B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M. Tech qualifications are eligible. The walk-in interview will be held from 03 to 06 December 2024. Details on eligibility and selection criteria are provided below.

DRDO DLRL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Maximum age 28 years, with relaxations of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

DRDO DLRL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Selection Process:

• Shortlisting will be based on valid GATE scores and marks in the qualifying degree/Interview.
• GATE paper and subject must be relevant to the applied discipline.
• Candidates working in government or government-owned organizations must provide a “No Objection Certificate” (NOC) from their employer at the time of interview, or apply through the proper channel.
• Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience in the field.

DRDO DLRL Recruitment 2024 Stipend

Stipend (Monthly):

• Rs. 37,000/- plus HRA as per DRDO rules.

JRF Tenure:

• Initially for two years, extendable for an additional two years based on internal screening committee recommendations.

Medical Benefits:

• Medical facilities will be provided for the JRF (self-only) through the MI Room at the laboratory.

Application Procedure:

• Eligible candidates must bring their duly completed application in the prescribed format, which can be downloaded from the official DRDO website: www.drdo.gov.in.
• Candidates should write “APPLICATION FOR JRF RECRUITMENT” in bold letters on the top of the envelope.
• The filled application should be accompanied by self-attested copies of the following documents:
  • Date of Birth Certificate
  • Degree/Provisional Certificate along with Marks Memos
  • GATE Score Card
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the current employer (if applicable)
  • Other relevant testimonials
