About DRDO

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the premier agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India, charged with the military’s research and development, headquartered in Delhi, India. It was formed in 1958 by the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production of the Indian Ordnance Factories with the Defence Science Organisation under the administration of Jawaharlal Nehru.

DRDO Recruitment Salary

  • For RA Rs. 67,000/- p.m. & Duration of Fellowship
  • For JRF Rs. 37,000/- p.m. & Duration of Fellowship

Age Limit

  • Not more than 28 years on the closing date of Advertisement. 5 years relaxation to
    SC/ST candidates, 3 years to OBC (Non-creamy Layer) candidates. Caste certificate copy to be enclosed with the application, if applicable.

DRDO Recruitment Selection Process

  • Walk-in-interview at DIBER (DRDO) Haldwani on 05.12.2023 (Tuesday) for post code 1 and on
    06.12.2023(Wednesday) for post code 2 & 3
  • Candidates will be short-listed based on their valid GATE score and marks secured in
    Degree/Postgraduate Degree. Candidates should possess an active E-mail ID. Candidates shortlisted by the screening committee will receive communication on further selection procedures. The date/ time for the online interview/walk-in- interview will be intimated accordingly. The final list of successful candidates for the existing vacancies and panel of candidates for future vacancies will be uploaded on the DRDO website (www.drdo.gov.in)
