About DRDO

The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is the premier agency under the Department of Defence Research and Development in the Ministry of Defence of the Government of India. It is responsible for military research and development and is headquartered in Delhi, India. Established in 1958 through the merger of the Technical Development Establishment and the Directorate of Technical Development and Production of the Indian Ordnance Factories, along with the Defence Science Organisation, it was administered under Jawaharlal Nehru’s administration. In 1979, the Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS) was formed as a service of Group ‘A’ Officers/Scientists directly under the administrative control of the Ministry of Defence.

DRDO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

Candidates will be chosen for the DRDO Apprentice posts based on their academic standing, and if necessary, an interview will also be conducted. • Application Deadline:
  • The last date to receive the online application is 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment Newspaper.
  • Important Notes:
