DCIL Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Fleet Personnel Eligibility
- Dredge Masters/Inland Masters: COC as Master (FG)/Dredge Master Gr-I/Master (NCV)/Inland Master 1st Class
- Chief Officers: COC as 1st Mate (FG)/Dredge Master Gr-II/Mate (NCV)
- 2nd Officers: COC as 2nd Mate (FG)/Dredge Mate Gr-I
- Chief Engineer Officers: MEO Class-I Certificate/Dredge Engineer Gr-I
- Electrical Officers: ETO Course certificate & 5 years of experience
- Petty Officer (Dredging): Ex-Chief Petty Officer with experience on dredgers
- Engineer Room Ratings: COC as Rating forming part of Engine Room Watch
- Seaman Helmsman: COC as Rating forming part of Navigational Watch
- Crew Cook: Cook CDC or COC with 3 months of experience
Trainee Eligibility
- Dredge Cadets: Diploma in Nautical Science (DNS) from DG Shipping approved institutes
- Trainee Marine Engineers: 4-year degree in Marine Engineering
- NCV (Trainees): X Class pass with Pre-Sea GP rating and exit examination
- Trainee Electrical Officers (TELO): 4-year Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, along with ETO Course
Age Limit: Must be less than 25 years as of 01.03.2025.
DCIL Recruitment 2025 Selection Process
- Fleet Personnel: Based on performance in the walk-in interview.
- Trainee Posts: Based on marks in the prescribed qualification and performance in the interview for Dredge Cadets, Trainee Marine Engineers, and TELOs.
DCIL reserves the right to cancel or modify the selection process if required.
DCIL Recruitment 2025 Salary
- Dredge Cadets: ₹15,000 per month + ₹600/day as victualling allowance
- Trainee Marine Engineers: ₹25,000 per month + ₹600/day as victualling allowance
- NCV (Trainees): ₹10,000 per month + ₹405/day as victualling allowance
- Trainee Electrical Officers: ₹25,000 per month + ₹600/day as victualling allowance
Note: A bank guarantee or equivalent deposit of ₹3 lakhs is required for certain posts after training.
