East Coast Railway Recruitment 2025n Eligibility Criteria

Post Level	Educational Qualification
Level-2	12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (50% marks are not required for SC/ST/Ex-servicemen or candidates with higher qualifications like Graduation/Post Graduation.) OR Matriculation/Equivalent with ITI certificate for technical categories.
Level-1	10th standard or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Board. OR National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT. For posts in Civil Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Signal & Telecom, and Catering Wing, the minimum qualification is a 10th pass plus a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or a 10th pass plus ITI.

• Age Limit:
  • Group-C: 18 to 30 years
  • Erstwhile Gr-D: 18 to 33 years
  • Age limit will be considered as of 1st July 2025.

Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered + 3 years
• Persons with Disabilities: 10 years (13 years for OBC, 15 years for SC/ST)
• Women candidates: 35 years (38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST)
