ESIC Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility for Candidature – Nationality/Citizenship:
- Indian citizen, or
- Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugee (arrived before January 1, 1962), or
- Migrants from specified countries with a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Educational Qualifications:
- MBBS degree included in the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship (those yet to complete may apply but must finish before appointment).
Age Limits:
- Maximum Age: 35 years as of:
- CMSE 2022: April 26, 2022.
- CMSE 2023: May 9, 2023.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: As per government rules

- Shortlisting of candidates based on the Disclosure Lists of CMSE 2022 & 2023.
- Merit list preparation based on CMSE marks.
- CMSE 2022 candidates will have priority over CMSE 2023 candidates.
