Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification:
  • Must have passed Matriculation (Class-X) from a recognized board.
• Driving License:
  • A valid driving license is mandatory.
• Employment Exchange Registration:
  • A valid Employment Exchange registration number for Assam is required.
• Age Limit (as of 11th January 2025):
  • Unreserved: 40 years
  • OBC/MOBC: 45 years
  • SC/ST (P) & ST (H): 50 years
  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): As per government rules.

Gauhati High Court Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

1. Written Examination (40 marks):
   • General Knowledge, Road Signs, and Assamese Language
   • Duration: 1 hour
   • Minimum passing marks: 20 out of 40
2. Driving Test (40 marks):
   • Candidates must score at least 20 out of 40 to qualify.
3. Interview (10 marks):
   • Minimum passing marks: 6 out of 10 to be eligible.

1. Visit the official website: ghconline.gov.in.
2. Register by clicking on “Application for engagement of Chauffeurs (Driver)” and fill in the required details.
3. Upload a recent passport-sized photo (size: 5 KB to 20 KB, formats: .png or .gif).
4. After registration, print the Fee Payment Challan and pay at any State Bank of India branch within two working days of application submission.
5. The last date for fee payment is 16th January 2025.
