Selection Procedure (Summary)
- Eligibility: Only Ex-Apprentices of HAL Nashik and candidates shortlisted from the Nashik District Employment Exchange can apply.
- Application Process: Candidates must apply online on the HAL website, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria. Applications will be screened based on the eligibility norms.
- Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the Written Test based on marks in the qualifying exam. The cut-off for the written test is 60% for UR/OBC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
- Written Test:
- Duration: 2 ½ hours
- Format: 3 parts (General Awareness, English & Reasoning, and Discipline-specific questions)
- No negative marking, each question carries 1 mark.
- Minimum Passing Marks: 50%
- Document Verification: Candidates qualifying for the written test will undergo document verification. Required documents include age proof, educational qualifications, caste certificate (if applicable), and experience certificates. Failure to provide necessary documents will result in disqualification.
- Post-Selection:
- Provisional Offer: Candidates passing the document verification stage will receive a provisional offer.
- Medical Examination: A pre-employment medical exam is mandatory, with no health standard relaxations.
- Character Verification: Final engagement is subject to verification of caste (if applicable) and character from concerned authorities.
- Travel Allowance (TA): Candidates attending document verification will be reimbursed travel expenses (Sleeper Class train fare or bus fare).

HAL Recruitment 2024 Salary
Selected candidates will be engaged as Operators on a 4-year tenure basis, with no guarantee of permanent employment.
Remuneration:
- Basic Pay: ₹23,000 (D6) / ₹22,000 (C5) per month.
- Perks & Allowances: 25% of Basic Pay (includes conveyance, canteen, washing, etc.).
- Additional Benefits:
- Medical Reimbursement: ₹1,500/month.
- Monthly, Annual, and Quarterly Incentives.
- Night Shift, Uniform, Shoe Allowance, and TA/DA.
- Group Insurance and House Rent Allowance (if no quarters are provided).
Annual Increase:
- 3% increase in Basic Pay based on performance.
HAL Recruitment 2024 Tenure of Engagement & Posting
- Engagement Duration: Selected candidates will be engaged for a maximum of 4 years. The tenure will automatically end after 4 years, with no guarantee of permanent employment. An extension of up to 4 more years may be considered based on workload and requirements.
- Termination: Either party can terminate the engagement with 1 month’s notice or payment of Basic Pay + DA instead of the notice.
- Induction Training: Candidates will undergo 8 weeks of induction training and may be deployed in shifts as per company needs.
- Place of Posting: Candidates will be posted at the Nasik Division, but may be transferred to any other HAL locations as per organizational requirements. No posting change requests will be entertained after joining.
