Selected candidates for HPCL’s Engineer and Officer positions may be allocated to any SBU/Division/Department of the Corporation, anywhere in the country, with transferable services based on the Corporation’s needs. The jobs may include shift responsibilities, and candidates may be deployed to subsidiaries, joint ventures, or government offices as needed.

HPCL Recruitment 2024 Probation & Retention

Selected officers for HPCL’s Engineer and Officer positions will serve a one-year probationary period beginning on the date of hire. Following satisfactory completion of the probation period, they will be considered for confirmation by corporate policies. For officers on the 50000-160000 pay scale, a retention fee of Rs. 5000/- per month will be taken from their total emoluments for the first six months of probation. This payment will be returned once confirmed. However, if the employee quits the Corporation or has their service terminated before confirmation, the retention amount will be forfeited.

• An application fee is required for all positions.
• SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
• UR, OBCNC and EWS candidates need to pay ₹1180/- plus payment gateway charges.
• ₹1180/- includes ₹1000/- application fee, GST@18% (₹180/-), and payment gateway charges if applicable.
• Payment methods: Debit/Credit card, UPI, or Net Banking.
• Transaction status changes to “Your Transaction is completed” upon successful payment.

• Online Applications were accepted from 0900 hrs on 5th June 2024 till 2359 hrs on 30th June 2024.
• Apply online only at www.hindustanpetroleum.com Careers Þ Current Openings.
• No other means/mode of application is accepted.
• Incomplete/wrong particulars or applications not in the prescribed format will not be considered.
• Provided email ID and mobile number should remain valid for at least one year.
• Use proper email IDs created in names; pseudo/fake email IDs will face appropriate action.
• Details in the online form are treated as final; no changes are entertained.
• Submission of incomplete application with fees leads to candidature cancellation; Application fee forfeited.
• No further communication/consideration on incomplete submissions.
• Submit documentary evidence of eligibility during the shortlisting/selection process as HPCL advises.
• Any mismatch in name, qualification, or other criteria mismatch from the application form leads to disqualification.
• CBT/Interviews for different positions may be on the same day/different venues.
• Any requests for venue/date change for CBT/interviews are not entertained.
