ICMR- NIV Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

For Project Technical Support-II

Essential Qualification:

• 12th pass in science subjects AND Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT) with five years of experience.

Desirable Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (Community Development), Public Health, Sociology, or any other subjects related to health.
• Experience in working on Community Based Health projects or the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP).

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinating project activities, including counseling and Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) activities.
• Liaising with Local Self Governments (LSGs) and other organizations for data collection and project management.
• Compiling and collecting data, preparing documents and reports, and undertaking other project-related tasks as assigned.
• Coordinating activities relevant to the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP).

Age Limit :

• The age limit for the position of Project Technical Support-II is 30 years.

For Project Data Entry Operator

Essential Qualification:

• Intermediate or 12th pass from a recognized board.
• A speed test of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour through a speed test on a computer.

Desirable Qualification:

• 2 years of experience working in government, autonomous, PSU, or any other recognized organization in Medical Diagnostic Laboratories and research setup.

Job Responsibilities:

• Data entry: Collating, organizing, and capturing project-related data into digital databases.
• Undertaking other tasks as assigned.

Age Limit :

• The age limit for the position of Project Data Entry Operator is 25 years.

For Project Technical Support-I

Essential Qualification:

• 10th pass AND Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT) or Industrial Training Institute (ITI) with two years of experience.

Desirable Qualification:

• B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).
• Past work experience in the National TB Elimination Programme (NTEP).
• Experience in a medical laboratory with knowledge of PCR techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

• Testing collected samples from the district and undertaking other project-related tasks as assigned.

Age Limit :

• The age limit for the position of Project Technical Support-I is 28 years.
