About Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI)

IDBI Bank Limited (IDBI Bank or IDBI) is a development finance institution under the ownership of the Life Insurance Corporation of India and the Government of India. Established in 1964 as the Industrial Development Bank of India, it provided financial services to the industrial sector. In 2005, it merged with its commercial division, IDBI Bank, forming the present-day banking entity. In March 2019, the Government of India asked Life Insurance Corporation to infuse capital into the bank due to high NPA and capital adequacy issues. IDBI was put under Prompt Corrective Action (PCA) by the RBI, and on 10 March 2021, it came out of PCA. The Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI) has officially announced the IDBI Executive Recruitment 2024, offering 1,000 vacancies for the position of Executive. IDBI Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age:

• Minimum Age: 20 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• The candidate must have been born between October 2, 1999, and October 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification:

• The candidate must have a Graduate degree from a recognized university in any discipline. The degree should be from a university approved by recognized bodies like AICTE, UGC, etc.
• Diploma holders will not be considered eligible.

Computer Literacy:

• Candidates are expected to be proficient in computers/IT-related aspects.

IDBI Recruitment 2024 Selection Process & Exam Pattern

1. Online Test (OT) The online test will assess candidates across four sections:

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

2. Interview

• After successfully passing the online test, candidates will undergo Document Verification (DV).
• Then, candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview (PI), which is worth 100 marks.
  • Minimum qualifying marks for the interview: 50% for General candidates, 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.

3. Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT) Candidates who pass the online test and interview will undergo a Pre-Recruitment Medical Test (PRMT).

4. Final Selection The final selection will be based on a weighted average of the Online Test (OT) and Interview scores:

• Final Score = 3/4 of OT Score + 1/4 of Interview Score

IDBI Recruitment 2024 Salary

Remuneration:

• First Year: Rs. 29,000/- per month
• Second Year: Rs. 31,000/- per month

These are consolidated/fixed remunerations for the IDBI Executive (Sales and Operations) role.

• Valid Email & Mobile Number: Candidates must have a valid personal email address and mobile number that should remain active throughout the recruitment process. The Bank will send call letters and updates to the registered email and mobile number. Any changes to the contact information after registration will not be entertained.
• Required Documents: Candidates must scan and upload their photograph, thumb impression, handwritten declaration, and signature as per the guidelines. The handwritten declaration text should read:

“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”

• Signature Guidelines: The signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration must be of the candidate and in the specified format. Any inconsistency in signature or thumb impression may result in disqualification.
• Capital Letters: The signature and handwritten declaration must be in normal case (not in CAPITAL letters).

2. Application Submission Process:

• Single Application: Submit only one application. Multiple applications will result in the cancellation of all except the most recent one.
• No Changes After Submission: Once the application is submitted, no changes can be made to the details (such as name, category, date of birth, etc.), so candidates must verify all details carefully before submission.
• Category: The selected category cannot be changed after applying. Ensure the correct category is selected before submission.
