CSIR – Indian Institute of Chemical Biology (IICB), Kolkata, is inviting applications for the positions of Technical Assistant and Technician (1). Candidates with qualifications such as 10th, 12th, B.Sc, M.Sc, ITI, or Diploma are eligible to apply. The maximum age limit is 28 years as of 31 March 2025. A total of 21 vacancies are available for these positions.

IICB Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Technical Assistant: Educational Qualification:

• B.Sc/M.Sc/Diploma in relevant fields with a minimum of 60% marks.
• Specializations include Chemistry, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Computer Science, and Engineering fields.
• Relevant experience in laboratory operations and handling of sophisticated instruments is desirable.

Technician (1):Educational Qualification:

• 10th/12th pass with Science and ITI certification in relevant trades (Electronics, Instrument Mechanic, Electrician, Catering, etc.).
• Minimum 55% marks required.
• Relevant industrial or institutional experience is desirable.
