About Indian Maritime University (IMU)

The Indian Maritime University (IMU) is a public central university under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways in India. It specializes in various maritime-related disciplines, including oceanography, maritime law and history, search and rescue at sea, and the transportation of hazardous goods. IMU serves as the premier national institute for training Merchant Navy Officers. Admissions to IMU are conducted through the annual IMUCET entrance examination. Established on 14 November 2008 by the Indian Maritime University Act, 2008, IMU consolidated seven renowned teaching and research institutes previously under the Ministry of Shipping.

Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the post of Assistant and Assistant (Finance) at the Pay Level-04 as per the 7th CPC for Indian Maritime University.

IMU Recruitment Application Fee

The Application Fee for the Online CRT is Rs.700/-(plus GST) for SC/ST candidates and Rs.1000/- (plus GST) for all others for the posts of Assistant and Assistant (Finance). It is non-refundable. Candidate has to make two separate payments if applying for both the posts of Assistant and Assistant(Finance). The Application Fee shall be paid only Online.
