Indian Army Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 10th (Matriculation) with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 17 ½ to 21 years old as of 01 October 2025.
  • Age relaxation is applicable for widows of defense personnel who have died in service.
• Domiciles: Applicants from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Puducherry are eligible to apply.
• Driving License: Preference will be given to candidates with a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) driving license.

Indian Army Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The recruitment process will be carried out in two phases:

1. Phase 1: Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE)
   • The exam will consist of objective Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
   • Duration: 1 hour for 50 questions or 2 hours for 100 questions, depending on the category.
   • A marking system will be used where correct answers will earn marks, while unattempted questions will receive no penalty.
2. Phase 2: Recruitment Rally
   • Candidates shortlisted from Phase 1 will be called for a physical fitness test and physical measurement test.
   • Physical Fitness Test: Includes a 1.6 km run, long jump (10 feet), and high jump (3 feet).
   • Adaptability Test: Candidates passing the physical tests will undergo an adaptability test to assess their ability to adapt to military life.
   • Medical Examination: Those passing all previous stages will undergo a medical check-up.
