About Indian Coast Guard
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) is a uniformed maritime service and one of the three arms of the Indian Armed Forces responsible for coastal security, search and rescue, marine environment protection and fisheries protection. It functions under the Ministry of Defence and conducts both law enforcement and humanitarian operations along India’s coastline.
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025
ICG has invited offline applications to fill 14 vacancies in the Coast Guard Region (East) for deployment at Ramanathapuram, Thoothukudi and Chennai (Tamil Nadu). Selection will be through written examination and trade test as specified in the official notification.
