Candidates who have completed the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or equivalent from any recognized Board with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM), and a minimum of 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Candidates must be born between 02 January 2005 and 01 July 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Applicants should have participated in the JEE (Main) – 2023 examination for B.E/B. Tech. Selection for the Service Selection Board (SSB) will be determined by the JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List (CRL) – 2023, as published by NTA.
Medical Standards/Relaxation in Height and Weight/Tattoo:
All candidates recommended by SSB must undergo a medical examination applicable to 10+2 (B Tech) entry. Guidelines for medical standards are accessible on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in. No relaxation in medical standards is granted on any grounds, and changing the medical hospital/center is not permissible under any circumstances.
(a) Naval Headquarters reserves the right to set the cut-off for shortlisting based on JEE (Main) CRL – 2023. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be in Bangalore/Bhopal/Kolkata/Visakhapatnam from Mar 2024.
(b) Shortlisted candidates will be informed via e-mail/SMS. Candidates should not change contact details until the selection process concludes.
(c) Change of SSB Centre is not allowed.
(d) Candidates download the call-up letter upon intimation. No compensation for injuries during SSB.
(f) AC 3-tier rail fare is admissible for the first-time SSB interview. Bring a photocopy of the passbook/checkbook.

a) Induction and Course:
Selected candidates will be inducted as Cadets for the four-year B. Tech Course in Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics & Communication Engineering as per Naval requirements. Upon course completion, a B. Tech Degree will be conferred by Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). Distribution of cadets among the Executive and Technical Branch (Engineering & Electrical) will align with the existing policy.
(b) Training Cost and Entitlements:
The complete cost of training, inclusive of books and reading material, will be covered by the Indian Navy. Cadets will also receive entitled clothing and messing facilities.

(a) When you’re applying online, have your important documents nearby.
(i) Fill in your details just like they are in your Matriculation Certificate/12th class certificate.
(ii) Make sure to fill in all the necessary fields, like your email address and mobile number.
(b) Scan all the important documents (preferably the originals), your Date of Birth proof, 10th and 12th class mark sheets, JEE(Main)-2023 Score card (showing Common Rank List-CRL), and a recent passport-sized photo in JPG/TIFF format. Attach these while filling out the application. Print the application and take it, along with the original certificates/documents mentioned in Para 10(b), for the SSB interview.
(c) If any scanned document isn’t clear, your application might get rejected.
(d) Once you apply, it’s final. No changes will be allowed.
