Indian Ports Association Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Qualifications and Experience
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil):
- Qualification: Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience (Preferred): Two years in Executive Cadre within Planning/Construction/Design/Maintenance, ideally in Port Marine Structures or similar fields in Industrial/Commercial/Govt. Undertakings.
- Junior Executive (Civil):
- Qualification: 1st Class (60% or more) B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Regular/Full-time) from a recognized University/Institution.
- Experience: Not required.
Age Limit
- Maximum age as of application deadline:
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil): 30 years.
- Junior Executive (Civil): 30 years.
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability: 10 years (15 years for SC/ST, 13 years for OBC)
Nationality
- Candidates must be:
- Indian citizens, or
- Nationals of Nepal or Bhutan,
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with intentions of permanent residence, or
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and select East African countries to settle in India permanently.
Indian Ports Association Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Candidates are required to take an online test as mentioned in the advertisement. Selection will be based on overall performance in this Computer-Based Test and/or an interview.
Before joining, candidates must submit original documents for verification at the respective Major Ports. Failure to provide the required documents or if the documents do not meet the criteria will result in disqualification.
The Indian Ports Association reserves the right to change the selection process if necessary.
Indian Ports Association Recruitment 2024 Salary
The pay scales for positions are as follows:
- Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil): ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 (Pre-Revised: ₹9,100 – ₹15,100)
- Junior Executive (Civil): ₹30,000 – ₹1,20,000
The compensation package includes Basic Pay, DA (based on the IDA pattern), and Cafeteria Allowances at 35% of Basic Pay. Additional benefits like Gratuity, Employer’s Provident Fund, HRA or subsidized accommodation, medical benefits, and leave encashment are also provided according to the rules of the respective Major Port.
